Do you provide care to a person who has memory or thinking concerns?
The C-CARERS Project is looking for participants!
What is the purpose of the study?
To help improve social support and healthcare services for caregivers and people living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
Why participate?
To help researchers understand the unique experiences and expectations of caregivers from rural and underrepresented communities in Northern California
What does participation involve?
You will fill out the Interest Form to see if you are eligible to be in the study. This will take approximately 5 minutes.
If you move to Step 2, you will receive an email invitation to answer more questions in the online survey. This will take approximately 30 minutes.
Then, some people will be invited to do a 1-hour interview about their experiences as a caregiver and their advice on how to improve social support and health care services in their community.
Who can participate?
We are looking for caregivers:
Age 18+
Living in Northern California
Can read in English, Spanish, Chinese, or Korean
Care for a person age 50+ who has memory or thinking concerns
All responses are screened for duplication, fraud, and automated bot detection, given the nature of online recruitment and survey administration. This study uses Qualtrics (our online survey platform) Fraud Detection system to detect fraudulent responses. Compensation will be issued only after responses have been reviewed and verified. Any responses flagged as duplicates or suspected of fraudulent or automated bot activity will be withdrawn and will not receive compensation.
