Roger has practiced as a care navigator in community-based and digital health settings where he has led interdisciplinary teams, provided comprehensive empathy-centered support to individuals living with dementia and their care partners and LGBTQ+ older adults and adults with disabilities experiencing feelings of social isolation and loneliness, and helped support mixed-methods research programs. Roger is dedicated to utilizing qualitative research as a platform by which to share the voices and lived experiences of individuals living with dementia and their loved ones within historically marginalized communities to inform truly equitable policy, programs, and care models that meet each individual where they are at and engages communities in a way that is accessible and meaningful to them.
